ZZS in denial as usual. Cute chapter, all homey and warm.
Thanks Emma P for proofreading!
Notes
1. The logic behind acupoints sealing is to block the circulation of the meridians to prevent the venom from spreading. It's such a common trope it doesn't even have to be mentioned explicitly.
2. 老牛吃嫩草 translated literally. Means an older person hitting on a younger one.
3. Saying someone is a rabbit/hare is both an insult and a reference to homosexuality as "rabbit" can be slang for a gay man. It also can be used generically to mean someone cute and naive. Rabbits populate BL stories quite abundantly because of those symbolisms.
4. 十八摸 A folk tune with many variations, generally about a guy trying to grope a lady and the comedy that ensues.
5. 粽子 (zongzi) is a kind of glutinous rice confection stuffed with a salty or sweet filling that is wrapped in bamboo leaves.
6. 圣手 lit. "holy hands" is used to refer to great doctors; it is also the chapter's title. 温如玉 lit. "warm as jade" is a delicate and sophisticated name.
7. 谷妙妙 lit. "grain clever/wonderful". Suggest someone incredibly smart. Also a play on words homophonous with "grain sprout"
Awww WKX teaching ZCL some kung fu 🥺
Thank you for the wonderfully evocative translations! I really like the way you capture the feel of the story!

Some Wen Kexing backstory, but somehow it just adds even more questions.
Thanks for the translation!
